It's kinda like Dark Souls where someone like Cindy might nubstomp you(for like 20+ times in a row), but you focus, recall stuff and then you manage to do it without not only not drinking Estus, but also by not getting hit at all. It's just your first character, you still don't have access to all the tools, don't have all the experience / understanding. And those means will be available to all of your characters. You can outgear EVERYTHING, you simply don't have the means to it. There is a distinct lack of unfair things in Chaosbane(except Flamer on death effect). It's not unfair / cheap, YOU LET HIM destroy your cover(pillars) ie: 'He shot the 3 pieces of cover'. Very lazy & cheap lolĪnyway, have plenty other games to play, just thought I'd give this a chance as it seemed to be like Diablo 3 =)

I gave up when I was stood behind cover with no poison on the ground but still took damage which insta-killed my character. Too much damage & it covers the whole floor. Regardless, you can evade all his attacks easily, it's just a matter of paying attention and moving around, and hiding behind the pilars during the poison spell.
